THE ROLE:

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Cluster Sous Chef (m/f/d) to support the culinary operations of both hotels in Würzburg. In this role, you will work closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen leadership team to ensure exceptional food quality, efficient operations, and memorable guest experiences.

YOUR MAIN TASKS:

  • Support the daily culinary operations at both Moxy & AC Würzburg

  • Assist in leading, motivating, and developing the kitchen team

  • Ensure consistent food quality and presentation standards

  • Support menu development and seasonal culinary initiatives

  • Monitor and maintain food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards

  • Assist with inventory management, purchasing, and cost control

  • Coordinate with F&B management and other departments to ensure smooth operations

  • Take an active, hands-on role during service, events, and banquets

  • Support staff training and onboarding of new team members

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef, ideally within a hotel environment

  • Passion for high-quality food and modern culinary trends

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to lead by example and support a positive team culture

  • Good understanding of food cost control and kitchen administration

  • Solid knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations

  • Strong communication skills in German and/or English

  • Flexibility, reliability, and a hands-on mentality
