THE POSITION

LAB22 is seeking a highly motivated front Office Trainee to join our team. As a Front Office Trainee, your primary focus would be on providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth and efficient front office operations.

Job requirements

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Front Office Trainee / Lobby Ambassador you will:

  • Welcome and greet guests upon arrival with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.

  • Provide luggage assistance and support group arrivals with porterage services.

  • Ensure the lobby is organized, clean, and presented to the highest standards at all times.

  • Assist guests with hotel information, local recommendations, special requests, and general enquiries.

  • Coordinate and deliver in-room amenities and other guest requests.

  • Support the Front Office team with check-in and check-out processes in line with brand standards.

  • Maintain accurate guest records, including personal information, payment details, and preferences.

  • Assist with daily Front Office and lobby operations, ensuring a smooth and positive guest experience.

  • Handle guest complaints and requests in a professional and solution-oriented manner.

  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation.

  • Working closely with the Front Office and wider hotel teams.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a positive, can-do attitude.

  • Knowledge of Opera and Microsoft Office is preferred.

  • English and Spanish are essential.
