THE POSITION

LabTwentyTwo is seeking a talented and passionate Executive Chef to join our dynamic team in the Hotels department. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of culinary excellence for our guests.
We are looking for the Chef for a newly opened hotel in Barcelona in a leading company in the hotel sector. We have three restaurant outlets. We need someone who wants to start a new project, who is involved, has passion and leadership skills.

Job requirements

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proven experience as a Exec Chef or similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting.

  • Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and practices.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality dishes.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

  • Valid food handling and safety certification.

  • Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a hotel or fine dining establishment.

  • Minimum experience of 3-4 years in a similar position.

  • Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and practices.

  • Ability to lead and manage a team of kitchen staff.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional culinary experiences.

  • Valid food handling and safety certifications.

  • Knowledge of catering in hotels.

  • Experience in menu, menu and banquets.

  • Fluent in the Spanish language
