THE POSITION

Odyssey is determined to offer exceptional guest experiences in all our hotels. A unique pre-arrival experience that will make guest even more excited about their stay starts when making the reservation. As a reservation intern, you’ll ensure that our future guests are prepared to perfection for their upcoming stay.


During your internship, you’ll become a team member in the Central Reservation Office (CRO) for all the participating Odyssey hotels across Europe. You’ll handle individual and group reservations that are received through email, phone, or other reservation systems. Together with your colleagues, you’ll be responsible for delivering daily reservation service to all the hotels and keeping up the highest customer service standards.


In addition to your daily functions, there is plenty of room for your own input and projects. We’re always curious to see you how you get the best learning experience during your internship.


YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer phone calls, emails, and request via other systems for new reservations and or enquiries.
  • Process individual reservations through established procedures.
  • Follow up on reservation-related tasks as determined in the scope of the CRO.
  • Identify sales leads for the on-property sales teams.
  • Drive upselling.
  • Daily communication with the operations team.
  • Ensure to deliver excellent customer services.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • An MBO or HBO degree in Hotel Management or a degree in another relevant field of study.
  • Affinity with hospitality and hotels.
  • Fluent in both English and Dutch, written and spoken additional languages are an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel).
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills.
