THE POSITION

As our Revenue Management Intern you will be part of our experienced revenue team. In this position you will learn the principles and technics of revenue and distribution management of multiple brands. You will assist to look after the revenue management systems and strategy for our hotels. All hotels are international branded and you will have the opportunity to assist in the pre-opening activation and positioning of hotels. Furthermore you will be largely exposed to the strategic commercial strategy process and decision making of the operating hotels. We are looking for a revenue management intern who is enthusiast with a creative spirit that foresees to kick start their career in Revenue management after the traineeship.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·         In charge of reporting, such as pace and pick-up reports, forecast report etc.

·         Assisting Revenue Managers in loading tactical promotional rates

·         Helping in system audits

·         Supporting the daily inventory management

·         Assisting Managers in strategy meeting preperation through data gathering, ciritiques and recommendations

·         Participating on special projects to develop specified analysis tools and studies coordinated by the team

·         Helping to set up new opening hotels from a system perspective through rate loading

·         Gain understanding of the reservation process through cross training

·         Training on all relevant revenue and reservation systems and tools of both brands (shadowing, in person and online)

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

You are a real initiator and you want to learn a lot in the field of Revenue! You have a passion for hotels and figures and you think along from the perspective of the hotel and the hotel group.

•         You follow a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Hotel Management

•         You are eager to learn, quickly pick up information and you know how to apply it

•         Independently

•         Strong numerical and analytical skills

•         Strong Excel-skills

•         Organized and accurate

•         Speaks and writes English fluently
