THE POSITION

As an F&B Supervisor at The Rebyl Nijmegen, you will oversee the smooth execution of all F&B activities. This includes managing the team, coordinating service, and ensuring every guest receives exceptional and professional service. You have a passion for hospitality and excel at creating luxurious experiences for guests. You act proactively, serving as the primary point of contact for guest requests and challenges. Fluent and assertive communication in both Dutch and English is essential for collaborating with guests and colleagues. With strong leadership skills and experience managing diverse aspects of F&B services, you take pride in your work, consistently striving to deliver exceptional guest experiences while driving profitability.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and support the team, fostering smooth collaboration among employees.

  • Supervise and train new employees and interns.

  • Manage inventory, ensure stock availability, and place orders as needed.

  • Oversee restaurant operations, including opening, closing, daily reports, and remittances.

  • Actively contribute to the guest experience by taking orders, advising guests, and serving dishes and beverages.

  • Handle complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.

  • Train F&B staff to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with other departments to provide a seamless guest experience.

WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU

  • At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities.

  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written; knowledge of Dutch is advantageous.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.

  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.

  • A high-energy attitude and the ability to bring fun and motivation to the team.
