As our portfolio continues to grow, we are looking for a strong operational leader based in Frankfurt who will oversee the performance of our leased hotel properties across Germany. This role combines strategic oversight with operational leadership to ensure our hotels deliver exceptional guest experiences and strong business results.

YOUR ROLE AS REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

As Regional Director of Operations – Germany, you will be responsible for the operational performance and leadership alignment of our leased hotel portfolio across the German market. Based in Frankfurt, you will work closely with General Managers and corporate teams to drive commercial success, operational excellence, and consistent brand standards across all properties.

Your mission is to empower hotel leadership teams, strengthen operational performance, and ensure that each property performs successfully within the German hospitality market.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Oversee operational performance across Odyssey’s leased hotel properties in Germany.
• Coach, support, and challenge General Managers to achieve operational and financial targets.
• Ensure brand standards and service quality are consistently implemented across all properties.
• Monitor hotel performance, budgets, and profitability in collaboration with Finance and Revenue teams.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities and implement best practices across hotels.
• Support hotel openings, transitions, and operational projects when required.
• Collaborate closely with HR, Sales, Marketing, and Revenue teams to maximize business performance.
• Ensure compliance with operational, legal, and brand requirements within the German market.
• Analyse operational and financial data to drive performance and strategic decision-making.
• Foster strong leadership culture and talent development across the region.

Job requirements

  • Extensive leadership experience in multi-property hotel operations.

  • Strong understanding of the German hospitality market and its operational dynamics.

  • Proven track record of driving operational and financial performance.

  • Experience working with internationally branded hotels is highly advantageous.

  • Strategic mindset combined with strong operational expertise.

  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.

  • Fluency in English and German.

  • Based in Frankfurt or willing to relocate, with flexibility to travel within Germany.
