YOUR ROLE AS A MEETINGS & EVENTS SUPERVISOR

At Hotel Nassau Breda, an Autograph Collection Hotel, every event is more than just an occasion, it is a story brought to life within centuries-old walls.

As our Meetings & Events Supervisor, you are the curator of these experiences. You take full ownership of the journey from the very first client interaction to the final moment guests leave our historic chapel, elegant salons, or our new restaurant - Bar Belle. You understand that hosting an event in a former monastery is not standard as it requires vision, precision, and a deep appreciation for atmosphere, detail, and storytelling.

You are the central connector within the hotel that seamlessly brings together Sales, Front Office, Kitchen, and F&B to create flawless, high-end experiences. Clients trust you because of your confidence, structure, and ability to translate their ideas into perfectly executed events.

With a strong presence and a natural sense of hospitality, you position Hotel Nassau as Breda’s premier destination for weddings, social gatherings, and refined meetings. You are not only operationally strong, but commercially driven; recognizing opportunities, building local relationships, and elevating every event to its fullest potential.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

·       Managing the full lifecycle of meetings, weddings, and events
·       Acting as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders
·       Translating client needs into detailed event plans and run-downs
·       Coordinating logistics across departments and unique hotel spaces
·       Overseeing event setup, execution, and guest experience
·       Identifying upselling opportunities and maximizing revenue
·       Building and maintaining a strong local network in Breda
·       Working with Marriot systems (OperaPMS, Salesforce)
·       Supporting and guiding junior team members
·       Ensuring quality, structure, and Autograph Collection standards

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

·       Profound experience in Meetings & Events within hospitality
·       Experience with high-end, complex events (weddings, social, corporate)
·       Strong organizational, analytical, and logistical skills
·       Commercial mindset with upselling focus
·       Understanding of hotel operations and cross-team coordination
·       Experience with F&B, audiovisual, and event planning
·       Familiar with Opera, Sales & Catering systems, Micros
·       Strong local awareness or network in Breda
·       Confident, professional, and guest-focused personality
·       Fluent in Dutch and English
