ABOUT THE ROLE

At Odyssey Hotel Group, we operate a dynamic portfolio of internationally recognized hotel brands across Europe. Our hotels in Germany and Austria represent strong commercial potential, combining international standards with local market expertise.

As our portfolio continues to grow, we are looking for a strategic and hands-on Regional Director of Sales based in Frankfurt, leading the sales performance across our leased hotel properties in Germany and Austria. This role is key in driving revenue growth, strengthening our market presence, and building high-value client relationships across the region.

YOUR ROLE AS REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF SALES

As Regional Director of Sales – Germany & Austria, you are responsible for leading the regional sales strategy and execution across multiple properties. You act as the central commercial leader for proactive sales, driving top-line revenue, B2B performance, and market share growth.

Working closely with the Regional Director of Commerce, General Managers, and in-market sales teams, you ensure alignment with Odyssey’s commercial strategy while delivering strong results across Corporate, Groups, and MICE segments.

Your mission is to build a high-performing sales structure, develop key accounts, and position Odyssey Hotel Group as a leading hospitality partner in the German and Austrian markets.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Lead and execute the regional sales strategy across Germany and Austria, focusing on leased hotel properties.
• Manage, coach, and align (Sr.) Sales Managers and Executives across the region.
• Drive top-line revenue, market share growth, and B2B performance across all properties.
• Oversee and grow key Corporate, Groups & MICE accounts across multiple hotels.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans with a focus on long-term partnerships.
• Build and maintain a strong multi-hotel sales pipeline with clear forecasting and performance tracking.
• Ensure effective use and adoption of CRM systems (Salesforce) and maintain high data quality.
• Conduct regular sales reviews, audits, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate closely with Revenue Management to optimize pricing strategies and business mix.
• Partner with Marketing on campaigns, lead generation, and regional activations.
• Work alongside General Managers to drive commercial performance at property level.
• Support pre-opening sales activities and hotel transitions within the region.
• Represent Odyssey Hotel Group at key industry events, trade shows, and client engagements.
• Strengthen Odyssey’s presence within the German and Austrian hospitality markets.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Strong leadership experience in multi-property or regional hotel sales.
• Deep understanding of the German and Austrian hospitality markets.
• Proven track record in driving revenue growth, market share, and B2B performance.
• Expertise in Corporate, Groups & MICE segments and strategic account management.
• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with experience in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
• Excellent negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Based in Frankfurt or willing to relocate, with frequent travel across Germany and Austria.
• Strong cultural fit with a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and collaborative environment.
