YOUR ROLE AS A KITCHEN MANAGEMENT INTERN

During your internship, you will support the Chef and kitchen team with the daily operation of the kitchen. You will assist with workforce planning, monitor food cost, and help reduce food waste. In addition, you will contribute to the development and optimization of menus, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and profitability. You will work closely with colleagues across different departments and gain hands-on experience in kitchen operations within a luxury hotel environment.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Support the daily operation of the kitchen

  • Assist with workforce planning and the efficient allocation of team members

  • Analyze food cost and contribute to cost-control initiatives

  • Monitor food waste and identify opportunities for improvement

  • Support the development and optimization of menus

  • Collaborate with the kitchen and restaurant teams to ensure efficient operations

  • Contribute to maintaining quality, hygiene, and food safety standards

Job requirements

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Flexible and willing to work weekends and public, holidays as a hotel we operate 24/7

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and effectively prioritize responsibilities

  • Excellent command of English; proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset

  • A service-oriented mindset with a keen eye for quality and detail

  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and adopt a proactive, solution-driven approach.
