THE POSITION

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Procurement team as a Procurement Intern at Odyssey Hotel Group. This internship role offers hands-on experience in the hospitality industry and the opportunity to learn about procurement processes within a dynamic organization.

• Assist with sourcing and purchasing activities.

• Support the procurement team in vendor management.

• Participate in inventory management and control.

• Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in sourcing and procuring goods and services for the hotel.

• Support the procurement team in vendor management and negotiations.

• Help maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.

• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and trends.

• Assist in analysing procurement data and preparing reports.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement needs are met.

• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Strong interest in procurement processes and supply chain management.

• Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality Management or related field.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work well in a team and independently.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.

• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

• Basic understanding of procurement principles and practices.
