THE POSITION:
For our AC Hotel Mainz, which opened in November 2021, we are currently looking for a highly motivated Front Desk Agent (m/f/d) with a meaningful personality and a hands-on mentality.

YOUR MAIN TASKS:

• Professional and warm welcome of our guests, check-in and check-out

• First point of contact for all guest requests, questions, and complaints

• In coordination with housekeeping, you ensure that rooms are ready on time

• You support the onboarding of new colleagues and apprentices in the department

• You keep a clear head when dealing with complaints and communicate confidently with our guests

• Diligent cash handling and accurate recording of sales

• You provide our guests with information and directions around the hotel and local area

• Managing the telephone system and forwarding inquiries to the appropriate departments

• Professionally handling and processing room reservations

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• You have successfully completed vocational training in the hospitality industry.

• You have at least 3 years of professional experience in F&B and some initial leadership experience.

• You’re a communicative, open personality with a well-groomed appearance and strong interpersonal skills.

• You’re passionate about restaurant & bar operations and constantly expanding your knowledge.

• You’re an organizational talent who enjoys taking responsibility for processes and workflows within the F&B department.

• In the absence of the F&B Manager, you step in to take over their supervisory duties.

• You have excellent German and English skills.
