Hotel Nassau Breda | Autograph Collection is part of Marriott International and located in a former monastery in the heart of the vibrant city of Breda. The hotel offers 95 rooms, a historic chapel (with a capacity of 300 guests) for weddings and events, and 5 spacious meeting rooms.

THE POSITION
As Front Office Manager, you are the face of reception and the beating heart of the team. You lead the Front Office department, ensure a seamless guest experience, and safeguard the department's operational excellence. You understand high-level hospitality, know how to optimise processes, and motivate your team to treat every guest with a personal and professional touch. You are the go-to person for escalations, facilitate smooth communication between departments, and contribute actively to the management team.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and coach the Front Office team with a focus on guest experience and team development;
Ensure efficient and guest-focused check-in and check-out procedures;
Actively work to improve guest satisfaction and online reviews;
Create staff schedules and manage staffing needs in line with forecasts;
Analyse and improve operational processes;
Handle complaints and exceed guest expectations;
Responsible for budgeting, cost control, and achieving departmental goals;
Ensure compliance with Marriott standards and operational guidelines.

WHAT YOU BRING – expertise with flair
At least a bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or Tourism;
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar management role within Front Office;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English;
Experience with Opera PMS and Marriott systems is a plus;
Strong leadership and decision-making skills;
You are solution-oriented, responsible, and proactive;
Able to perform under pressure and set clear priorities;
Passion for hospitality, team development, and service excellence.
