YOUR ROLE
As Groups & Events Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving revenue across Odyssey Hotel Group’s European hotel portfolio.
Based at our Headquarters in Frankfurt, you will focus on developing and managing group and event business, building strong client relationships, and ensuring that every event opportunity is converted into a successful commercial partnership.
You will work closely with sales teams, hotel operations, and revenue management to deliver exceptional service and maximize group and event revenue.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities within the groups and events segment
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event organizers, and partners
• Conduct sales calls, presentations, and site inspections to promote Odyssey hotels
• Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage event documentation
• Act as the main contact person for clients, ensuring smooth communication and service delivery
• Collaborate with hotel teams, revenue management, and marketing to successfully execute events
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across Odyssey’s hotel portfolio
• Maintain accurate records in CRM and sales systems

Job requirements
• Proven experience in groups & events sales, hotel sales, reservations, or event management, preferably within the hospitality industry
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify new business opportunities, drive revenue, and maximize upselling and cross-selling opportunities
• Experience in managing client relationships, including corporate clients, event planners, and key accounts
• Ability to handle complex bookings and high-value events, ensuring high service standards and client satisfaction
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently represent Odyssey Hotel Group to clients and partners
• Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple events, proposals, and contracts simultaneously
• Ability to work closely with Revenue, Sales, Marketing, and hotel operational teams to ensure smooth event planning and execution
• Experience working with CRM systems, event sales platforms, or hotel systems (Opera is a plus)
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken (Dutch is a plus)
• A proactive, target-driven, and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
