THE POSITION
Odyssey Hotel Group is seeking a motivated and results-driven Cluster Groups & Events Organizer to strengthen our Groups & Events Organizer Team. You are the driving force behind every group booking and event across all Moxy hotels in Germany. From intimate gatherings to large‑scale conferences, you ensure each experience is flawless.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate rooming lists, timelines, floor plans, AV setups, flowers and catering
• Lead site inspections and pre‑event briefings with clients
• Serve as main on‑site contact for clients and vendors before, during and after each event
• Liaise with kitchen, banqueting, front office and housekeeping for seamless execution
• Handle last‑minute changes, walk‑in requests and social events (weddings, birthdays)
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners and suppliers
• Track bookings in our database, gather feedback and report on event success
Job requirements
HOW YOU WILL DO IT
Proactively communicate clear task lists and deadlines to all stakeholders
Use PMS, CRM or event‑sales platforms to streamline operations
Anticipate challenges and develop robust backup plans for AV, staffing and logistics
Provide prompt, friendly problem‑solving on the day of each event
Regularly review post‑event feedback to refine processes and raise standards
WHAT WILL YOU BRING?
Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken, is a necessity
Genuine passion for hospitality and multitasking under pressure
Solution‑focused attitude with meticulous attention to detail
Strong relationship‑building skills with clients and internal teams
understanding of event logistics: room setups, catering and AV requirements
Experience with CRM systems and event sales platforms is an advantage (OPERA is a pré).
