THE POSITION
We’re looking for a Finance Manager (m/f/d) to join our hotel team and take full ownership of all financial matters on property. You will be the strategic partner to the General Manager and hotel leadership team, ensuring optimal financial performance while navigating the unique requirements of a growing and dynamic hotel business.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Full accountability for the hotel’s financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and cost control.
Preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB or IFRS.
Overseeing accounting operations, payment processing, and cash flow management.
Driving profitability by developing and implementing financial strategies, particularly in high-potential areas like spa & wellness.
Acting as a sparring partner for investment and capex planning with hotel and group leadership.
Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and all statutory financial requirements.
Delivering clear, accurate reporting and presentations to internal stakeholders.
Leading process improvement initiatives to optimise internal financial workflows and controls.
Serving as the primary contact for auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.
Job requirements
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
A degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a similar field
Several years of experience in financial management, ideally in hospitality or spa & wellness
Solid knowledge of accounting, controlling, and financial analysis
Familiarity with hotel systems (e.g. Opera, SAP, Fidelio) is an advantage
Fluency in German and English, written and spoken
Strong analytical and strategic thinking
Excellent communication skills and a hands-on mindset
A high level of responsibility, discretion, and self-organisation
