The Den, ’s-Hertogenbosch is a lifestyle hotel and part of Marriott International’s Tribute Portfolio. Opened in March 2022, the hotel is perfectly situated between city life and nature, within walking distance of the vibrant city centre and the central station. The Den combines a cosmopolitan spirit with local character, offering guests everything they need for a complete stay.

At the top of the hotel, you’ll find Current Rooftop Restaurant & Bar – the only rooftop venue in ’s-Hertogenbosch. It’s where great food, the best cocktails, and stunning views come together for the ultimate experience. Worldly flavours, locally inspired and served with a side of skyline.

THE POSITION
As a Technical Service Employee at The Den in ’s-Hertogenbosch, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving all technical systems and facilities in our hotel. Your work ensures our operations run smoothly and safely every day.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out both preventative and corrective maintenance on systems and equipment

• Diagnose and resolve technical faults effectively

• Keep clear maintenance logs and report to management

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations

• Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and procedures

• Participate in projects aimed at improving or expanding hotel facilities

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• A completed technical MBO-level education (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics)

• Proven experience in a technical maintenance role, preferably in hospitality

• Strong technical skills and familiarity with maintenance or building management software

• Fluency in Dutch and good command of English

• A proactive, flexible attitude and sense of responsibility
