THE ROLE

As Engineer, you are ultimately responsible for the overall technical condition of the hotel. You ensure a safe, well-maintained, and compliant hotel environment and are a crucial link between operations, management, and external partners.
You report to the General Manager and work closely with all departments. With your leadership, structure, and technical expertise, you ensure continuity, quality, and guest experience in a 24/7 hotel environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Ultimate responsibility for the Technical Services

• Ensuring safety, health, fire safety, and legal compliance

• Compliance with Marriott standards, Transcendent, and audit requirements

• Management of Preventive Maintenance and resolution of faults

• Guiding projects, renovations, and CapEx

• Energy and water management, including sustainability initiatives

• Budget, cost, and contract management

• Leading, coaching, and developing the technical team

• Reporting on KPIs, compliance, and maintenance status

WHAT YOU BRING

• Good command of the English language, both verbally and in writing

• Strong in administration and structured work

• Demonstrable leadership and sense of responsibility

• Analytical, solution-oriented, and communicative

• Experience in a hotel or similar 24/7 environment is a strong advantage
