ABOUT ODYSSEY
We are The Odyssey Hotel Group, Europe’s most ambitious hotel operator and the team behind many famous global hospitality names. We partner with Marriott, IHG, and Accor to develop exceptional properties across various brands, from Holiday Express to Marriott's Autograph Collection.
Powered by over 700 employees and supported by Activum SG as our major shareholder, our purpose is to create wonderful stories through a passion for unique and locally inspired hotel design and attention to every detail. We achieve this through a culture of enabling and empowering our teams to be masters of the art of hospitality.
ODYSSEY CULTURE
You’ll be joining a fast-moving, ambitious and successful team that’s shaking up the industry we love. If you thrive on responsibility, share a passion for great service, and are a natural collaborator, we’ll be a good fit. We pride ourselves on a collaborative mindset.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Strategic Planning Manager, you will be a key driver in translating Odyssey’s strategic vision into structured, measurable, and actionable plans. Working directly with our CEO and senior leadership, you will lead the design and implementation of tools, models, and processes that support data-driven decision-making, cross-functional accountability, and long-term business scaling.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on structure, excels in analytics, and isn’t afraid to challenge assumptions—always backed by data. If you’re energized by clarity, impact, and strategic execution (not post-it notes and buzzwords), this is your seat at the table.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and implement strategic planning models and decision-support tools used across the group.
Translate company-wide goals into structured initiatives across departments and brands.
Develop planning and performance frameworks, including OKRs, to drive measurable progress.
Build and maintain dashboards, tracking systems, and reporting tools in Excel and PowerPoint.
Support senior leadership (CEO, CFO, Department Heads) in setting and aligning strategic priorities.
Create scalable templates and tools to align execution across a growing portfolio of 70+ hotels.
Ensure strategic clarity across teams—removing fluff, driving action, and enabling accountability.
Job requirements
HOW YOU’LL DO IT
By translating bold company goals into clear, structured initiatives across departments
With strategic planning models, dashboards, and tools that drive action—not just alignment
By turning abstract ideas into concrete frameworks and tracking mechanisms
With operational logic, Excel skills, and a sharp eye for what matters (and what doesn’t)
By partnering with our CEO, CFO, and key leaders to challenge, guide, and align decision-making
With clarity, consistency, and the courage to say “this doesn’t add up” when needed
By cutting through the noise—removing fluff, creating focus, and enabling measurable results
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
5+ years of experience in strategic planning, business operations, consulting, or similar
Advanced Excel skills and a love for building logic-based tools and models
A structured approach to problem-solving and the ability to simplify complexity
Strong communication skills: clear, direct, and confident when engaging senior leadership
A bias for action—you move ideas forward and bring structure to execution
Proven ability to work independently while collaborating across departments
Affinity with dynamic, fast-paced environments (hospitality experience is a plus, not a must)
Fluent English (spoken and written); Dutch or German is a bonus
Resilience under pressure, comfort with shifting priorities, and a mindset focused on outcomes
